Acceptance
By accessing or using Peasant, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the assistant.
Peasant is operated by CJ Villanueva in the United Kingdom and is intended only for the Discord account expressly authorised by the operator.
What Peasant does
Peasant connects private Discord messages to existing Codex tasks. It may find titled tasks, read recent task context, pass a message to a selected task, and summarise the response.
Discord-started Codex work is restricted to read-only operation. Peasant cannot approve commands, edit project files, commit or push code, create deployments, or make production changes.
Authorised access
- You may use Peasant only if your Discord user ID has been allowlisted by the operator.
- You must not share access, attempt to bypass the allowlist, invite others to use the bot, or probe its systems or credentials.
- The operator may suspend or revoke access at any time, including to protect the assistant, connected accounts, projects, or devices.
Acceptable use
You must not use Peasant to:
- break the law, infringe rights, or facilitate harmful conduct;
- upload or request processing of passwords, private keys, financial data, health data, confidential client material, or other sensitive personal information;
- interfere with Discord, Codex, connected devices, networks, or third-party services;
- misrepresent AI-generated content as verified professional advice or a guaranteed result.
AI output and your responsibility
AI-generated responses can be incomplete, incorrect, or outdated. Peasant may misunderstand a request, choose the wrong task, or summarise information imperfectly.
You are responsible for checking any response before relying on it. Peasant does not provide legal, financial, medical, security, or other professional advice.
Third-party services
Peasant depends on services provided by Discord and OpenAI/Codex. Their own terms and privacy policies apply independently. Changes, outages, account limits, or access decisions made by those providers may affect Peasant without notice.
Availability
Peasant is provided on a private, experimental, and best-effort basis. It may be changed, interrupted, rate-limited, or withdrawn at any time. No specific uptime, response time, compatibility, or continued availability is promised.
Disclaimer and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Peasant is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
The operator is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use Peasant. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes and contact
These terms may be updated when Peasant's features, providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date above will be revised when a material update is published.
Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@itsmechristian.co.uk.
